Conversation: Texting VS Talking
Motion VS Letters is back again! And, this time, let's do thing differently but still the same concept. Well, I have been writing about comparing the story both version that you have to read and version that you have to watch. So, what if this concept does not have to apply only to fictions and happen in real life instead and we barely notice it. Think about texting and talking. To communicate with other person, you have to do it whether letter and texting or real life talking or video call. This week, let's talk about the different between texting and talking.
First, there are both advantages and disadvantages for everything but let's start with texting. When you read the text, you won't be able to know the tone and emotion of the person. It's hard to tell whether the person is truly angry or just kidding about it. And, this cause so many people to have a fight over just a little nonsense thing. There was one time that I was just kidding with my friend but my dear friend didn't seems to like the joke as much as I do. He guessed my voice tone in serious way and started to feel upset. So, we had a fight. Anyway, there are still good things from texting too. It you more time to think on what to types. It's true that when you have more time to think about what to say, which is not good for talking about any kind of relationships. But, when it comes to working, we tend to have more on what to tell another person. "Is this sentence polite enough?" "Did I wrote all the necessary information down?" We have more time to remind ourselves these important questions.
Second, talking. We can tell the emotion from gesture of person when we are talking face to face with him. Most importantly, eye contact. It's important to look into the eyes of another person it can tell the ambition of person thought their eyes when they are also look straight back to us and tell whether that person is lying or not when that person are afraid to look in to our eyes. But, It gives us more pressure when we talk to person face to face and sometime f...... mess the conversation up because we will start to talk nonsense when we are nervous.
To summarise things all up in just one paragraph for my dear readers to understand this easily. I would recommend texting to talk about group work or to contact with important person. Not only we can correct the information we are about to send, but we also can save all the information to use on the other time we are required. When it comes to deep conversation, heart to heart, I would recommend talking to be most honest with each other. Only honestly can makes any kinds of relationship work out. If you have something in your mind, say it out straightly!
