Soul Eater: Manga VS. Anime
People, this guy in these pictures, Death the kid, son of the reaper. He is meister, term of calling the weapon users. Well, there are only two types of people (in Soul Eater universe) those who use weapons or in other word cannot transform into weapon and those who can. He used to be my first crush. Now he's my boyfriend. (troll face) Okay, back to the main topic. There is no week this blog because my camera is out of battery and my internet was ruined again. I'm d-o-o-m DOOMED. This is one of my all time favourite anime. It is the first anime that I had ever watched. I used to be so so bias toward anime without any reason. When I first tried this anime, I became addicted to it. I you have never try anime before, I recommend this one. (But, not the "Soul Eater Not" one. That one is pretty main stream cute girls school life and they turn my boyfriend into some kind of moe(cute) guy as in the third picture above.) I love how the character designed is so unique from other anime, how creative they turn the cultural monsters into the awesome look anime characters. Medusa usually portrayed as a woman with hair of snakes because that is how she described in greek mythical creatures describe such as in the left picture from Clash of titan movie but this is how Soul Eater designed Medusa. She still keeps the same concept of using the snakes power and the ability of snakes.
For anime, as I had mentioned that it makes me addicted to it and became and anime since then. It is because I love the concept of playing with a person's mind. Madness, weakness, fear or whatever and are always inside of our mind and it is depends on us whether we can control it or let it take control you. This is why I love Soul Eater. But, there are only 51 episodes. Not many anime come with 51 episode in one season. Mostly it is 12 episodes or 24 episodes in one season and then season. (or keep going for ever like Naruto, Bleach, Fairy tail or One Piece) It is weird since they just cut off the anime like that while the manga still keep on going and the characters design are getting better and better. The picture, death the kid on the left is from the manga and in the middle is from anime which almost as same as the manga version before the designed was improved. I like both of this version and the on going manga is interesting. The story even got more intense than the anime. Wish they didn't cut off the anime like that. Speaking of mind and unconsciousness, Soul Eater dark side of Soul Eater Evan, of I forgot to mention that the anime was name after the main character name "Soul Evan" but he likes eating soul so much that people called him "Soul Eater,"was inspired from the red room from Twin Peaks. After all these years, I have no clue about this and I just figured it out last month! I was like PUFF mind blown. Since there shred pretty much the same concept of madness.
